Katana Cares

Katana Cares is a warranty policy provided by Katana Badminton (Official Distributor - SPACE GOODS) to its customers for purchases made directly on Katanabadminton website. Katana Cares is different from Katana return policy.

To activate your product warranty, please follow these steps:

  • Visit our Warranty Registration Page.
  • Fill in your product details, purchase date, and proof of purchase.
  • Submit the form to register your product under warranty.

You will receive a confirmation email once your warranty is activated.

Warranty Coverage on Rackets:

We offer a 60 days limited warranty covering on:

  • What's covered: Only manufacturing defects in the frame, shaft or handle.
  • What's not covered: Any damages caused by clashes, over-tension, wear and tear, strings and general use.

If there is any indication of structural damage that could compromise the integrity of the racket frame, Katana Badminton will not offer a replacement under the Katana Cares policy. Additionally, Katana Badminton shall not be liable for any damage to rackets that have been strung locally (i.e., not strung by Katana Badminton or through our Pro Stringing service).

Please note that if a claim is approved and a replacement is issued, the replacement racket will be provided without strings. In cases where the originally purchased racket is unavailable, we reserve the right to offer a racket of equal value and similar specifications at our discretion.

Grips and strings are consumable items and are not covered under the Katana Cares policy.

Warranty Coverage on Shuttlecocks:

  • Shuttlecocks (both feather and nylon) do not carry any warranty and do not qualify for replacement.

Warranty Coverage on Bags, Kitbags & Shoes:

  • The period of warranty coverage: 60 days from the date Katana Badminton Delivered the product.

  • What's covered: Manufacturing defects only.

  • What's not covered: Damages caused manually, wear and tear (for shoes - sole and upper).

Warranty Claim Process:

If you experience an issue covered under warranty:

  • Visit our Warranty Claim Page.
  • Submit a claim with your order details and proof of purchase.

  • If approved by our Katana Cares experts, you will receive a confirmation of approval over email.

  • Upon receipt of confirmation of an approval for Katana Cares Warranty Claim, you will need to ship the product at your own expense to 26C/1A, Kamaraj Nagar, 3rd Street, 3rd Mile, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, India - 628008

  • Once your product has been delivered, by the courier partner, to Katana Badminton, it may take between 3-5 working days to process your request.

  • If Katana Badminton (SPACE GOODS) accepts the request under the Katana Cares Policy, we will ship out a replacement within 48 hours of accepting the request.

  • If Katana Badminton (SPACE GOODS) rejects the request, you will be required to arrange return shipping of the product within 72 hours of the rejection of the request. If return shipping arrangements are not made within 72 hours the product may be discarded by Katana Badminton (SPACE GOODS)

    Katana Badminton (SPACE GOODS) decision in respect of the claimed product shall be final and confidential.
